My first e-book
Thanks to you!
Inspired by writers like Chris Noonan who have published their own collections, and reading posts from experts such as augmented man on the benefits of doing so, one of my holiday projects was creating an e-book to celebrate two years of online publishing. In print it would be a chapbook — a little selection of my published poems with some new verse sprinkled in.
This next step would not have been possible without you — the wonderfully supportive and vibrant creative Medium community around the world, motivating me to keep writing and posting through the darkest days.
The spirit of joy and defiance in this book represents what we collectively embody.
In the 17 month that I have active on Medium over the past 2 years, I have reached 199 followers (unconnected to my own networks) published 70 pieces and exceeded 1,000 claps on some of the most popular poems, with 1.6K for On Being & Trying in The Power of Poetry this month.
I want to build on this by paper publishing more work, maybe making some money from it (beyond the few cents from Medium!) but most of all, I want to share it more widely. It would be great to reach…
